For the sake of organization and clarity, I have divided my two greatest passions, birding and gardening, into two separate pages of my portfolio. That said, they are fundamentally inseparable; it is a false division due to their natural mutuality and coexistence. I have created and sculpted my gardens to be a life-support system for birds, insects and other wildlife. It is an endless investment of time, labor and love and the returns have been great. My camera and I participate in the life cycle that surrounds and reminds us of the opportunities of our stewardship, when we choose to accept it.
